Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of Terms
By registering as an instructor on our online courses platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not register or use our services.
Instructor Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Instructors are responsible for creating original content for their courses. All materials must be accurate and up-to-date.
- Compliance with Laws: Instructors must ensure that their courses comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including copyright laws.
- Engagement: Instructors agree to actively engage with students, respond to queries, and provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe.
Payment Terms
- Revenue Sharing: Instructors will receive a percentage of the revenue generated from their courses, as outlined in the instructor agreement.
- Payment Schedule: Payments will be processed on a monthly basis, following the end of each calendar month, contingent upon meeting minimum payout thresholds.
Intellectual Property
- Ownership: Instructors retain ownership of the content they create. However, by submitting content to the platform, instructors grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute the content.
- Third-Party Content: Instructors must not use any third-party materials without proper authorization and must ensure that they have the right to use any copyrighted materials.
Course Quality
- Quality Standards: Instructors must adhere to the quality standards specified by our platform. We reserve the right to review and remove any course that does not meet these standards.
- Feedback and Reviews: Instructors are encouraged to accept constructive feedback from students and make necessary improvements to their courses.
Termination
- Termination Rights: We reserve the right to terminate an instructor’s account at our discretion if there is a violation of these terms or any fraudulent activity.
- Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all rights granted to the instructor will cease, and they will no longer have access to their courses or student data.
Limitation of Liability
Our platform will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Instructors agree to indemnify us against any claims related to their course content.
Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Instructors will be notified of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts of England/Birmingham.
